How to Link Aadhaar Card with HP Gas Connection

Linking your LPG connection with Aadhaar card will give you the benefits of getting the subsidiary benefits.

Before you can link Aadhaar card with your HP gas connection, you need to link your bank account number with your Aadhaar card. Only then can the subsidiary be deposited to your account.

Offline Method Linking Aadhaar Card with HP Gas Connection


Those who have not linked their bank account with Aadhaar card need to download a copy of Form 1 from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas website or even download it from here: http://petroleum.nic.in/dbt/form1.pdf.

Download and print the form. You can now fill in the details and submit it personally at your respective bank. You will get an acknowledgement slip and the linking process will be complete within a few days.

After the linking with bank is complete, you need to visit your HP consumer gas dealer. Ask the dealer for a form to fill and link your accounts. Alternately:

1. You need to keep the Name of the distributor and your LPG consumer number ready.

2. Then visit Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas website and download the Form 2. Or, click the link http://petroleum.nic.in/dbt/form2.pdf.

3. Fill the form in capital letters using black or blue ink and attach the copy of the first page of your DGCC booklet along with a recent cash memo.

4. If the address mentioned on the LPG card is different from the address mentioned on your Aadhaar card, you need to attach a copy of your address proof such as:
  • Aadhaar Letter
  • Lease agreement
  • Telephone bill
  • Electricity bill
  • Flat allotment or Possession letter
  • LIC policy
  • Driving license
  • Voter ID
  • Passport
  • Self-declaration attested by Gazette Officer
  • House registration document
  • Ration card

5.  For linking the LPG consumer number to your Aadhaar card no. you can:
  • Personally take the application and hand it over to your LPG distributor
  • Post the letter to the following addresses:
  • HPC (HP Gas): Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Bangalore LPG Regional Office, No. 3 & 4, Whitefield Road, Mahadevapura PO, Bangalore, Karnataka - 560048
  • Call the Call Center on 1800-2333-555 and follow the instructions given.
  • Visit www.rasf.uidai.gov.in and register yourself by clicking on the ‘Start Now’ tab.
  • Or you can all the company IVRS and follow the instructions given:
  • HP Gas (HPC) – 9964023456
  • You can register with the help of an SMS if your number is previously registered with the LPG gas company.  All you need to do is send an SMS with information such as:
  • REG distributor telephone number with STD code without zero consumer number (e.g. REG 1234567890 987654)
Send the SMS to HP gas – 9964023456. They will send you a confirmation immediately, stating your Aadhaar card has been registered along with your LPG connection.

How to Link Aadhaar Card with Pan Card

You no longer need to send your ITR-V to CPC, Bangalore when filing for your Income Tax Returns for verification.

In order to skip this step, you need to link your Aadhaar number with your PAN card. This is done only if your name, address, date of birth and gender on your Aadhaar card matches information on your PAN card.

Linking Aadhaar Card with PAN Card


It is very simple to link Aadhaar card with PAN card. All you need to do is follow the given 3 steps.

Step I

  • You need to login into your account on the income tax e-Filing portal.
  • A new pop up window on your screen that will ask you to link your Aadhaar card with PAN Card
  • If it does not pop up, you will have to navigate to the profile settings from main menu.
  • Here, click the Link to Aadhaar Linked to Pan link.

Step II

  • Before you enter you Aadhaar number, make sure you verify your name, date of birth, gender on the Aadhaar card matches your PAN details.
  • The income tax department will verify your details.
  • The cross verification process is complete after you enter your details, mobile number and Capatcha code.
  • Once done, click on Link Now.

Step III

  • Once validation is complete, your Aadhaar card number will be linked to your PAN account.

As you can see, it is very easy to link your Aadhaar card with PAN card. Please keep in mind, only if your Aadhaar card details matches your PAN card information, the IT department will link the two cards.

Linking Aadhaar Card with Bank Account

Government of India has started to issue a Unique Identification number (UID) or Aadhaar number to all residents of India.

This Aadhaar number can be linked with your bank account and one can avail all the Government subsidies and payments directly into their bank account.

Linking Aadhaar card with bank account is very easy. Most banks now allow you to update your Aadhaar card details online with the help of net banking or you can visit the bank, fill the necessary application form, and submit it to the bank. This will help link your Aadhaar card to the bank account.


How to Link Aadhaar Card with Bank Account Online

  • You need to have an active net banking account of the bank you wish to link your Aadhaar card. 
  • Login into the Internet banking account and search for the link that says ‘Update Aadhaar Card Details’ or ‘Aadhaar Card Seeding’.
  • Once you see these links, click on it and open the page. Enter the Aadhaar card details as required and click the Submit tab.
  • Now, your application details will be saved in the bank database and after verification you will receive an email or SMS on your registered mobile number as confirmation.
     

How to Link Aadhaar Card with Bank Account Offline

  • You need to visit the bank and ask for an application form that helps you link the Aadhaar number to your bank account.
  • Fill the details correctly and attach the photocopy of the Aadhaar card along with the application.
  • The bank official may ask for the original card for verification.
  • After the application is approved, you will receive a confirmation on your email ID or mobile phone number.

Applying for a Duplicate Aadhaar Card

Applying for a Duplicate Aadhaar Card


You need your Aadhaar card number to download a duplicate copy. However, if you have not noted down your Aadhaar number, you can get it from the Enrollment number printed on the acknowledgement slip. Or you can find it out from the gas connection linked to your Aadhaar card. Many banks too require Aadhaar card number now, so you can check out your passbook or request the bank to furnish the Aadhaar number from their records.

1. Once you have your Aadhaar card number, visit the portal – https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.

2. Here, you need to click on the link that says Enrollment ID or Aadhaar.

3. If you have either numbers, choose the one appropriate and select Aadhaar.

4. Now, enter the number in the space provided, enter your full name, and Pin code.

5. Enter the Captcha code in the box provided.

6. Fill in the registered mobile number and click on Get One Time Password.

7. You will receive an OTP on your registered number that needs to be entered in the space provided.

8. Click on ‘Validate & Download’ and your duplicate card will be downloaded in a PDF format.

9. This file is password protected. Therefore, you need to enter your Pin Code as password to view the file.

10. Take a print out of your duplicate Aadhaar card.
